At BT Academy, horses on working livery receive full care from the staff, five days a week of full livery. They take part in lessons supervised by our instructors to keep up their training and fitness. In exchange, the livery cost is discounted. This setup is a hit with busy families who want to enjoy horse ownership without the daily commitment of yard visits. The price covers hay but does not include shavings, hard feed, veterinary or blacksmith fees, or worming. For more details, please get in touch. Before accepting a horse or pony into Working Livery, there’s a mandatory two-week Assessment Period in the quarantine area to ensure their suitability for the program.
All horses and ponies on Working Livery undergo regular reviews to ensure they remain suitable for the program. If a horse or pony is deemed unsuitable, a meeting with Brad will be arranged to discuss the available options.
