BHS Pony Stars
The BHS Pony Stars (Junior Challenge Awards) at BT Academy!
The Pony Stars non-ridden fun sessions are designed to nurture your love for ponies, expand your knowledge, and help you form friendships while earning awards along the way.
Each child will receive their own My Challenge Book to track achievements with stickers and a colorful bag to store them. As they complete various challenges, they can earn iron-on cloth badges to keep them excited and motivated.
At BT Academy, Pony Stars offers long-term progression through engaging activities that build knowledge, skills, and self-confidence. Ridden skills and badges can also be earned during lessons.
Children don’t need to take lessons to join and can start anytime!
Thursday evenings, 6pm - 7pm, Pony Stars Club welcomes children aged 5-12 years old: - Welshie Wizzers (children off lead rein/Intro groups) - Connemara Champs (children in Novice riding groups or above)
The club runs every Thursday during term time.
Thursday dates for 2025:-
18th September - 23rd October (6 weeks)
13th November - 18th December (6 weeks)
Costs: - Introduction pack: £30 (includes the group book, stickers, bag, and badges as achieved—ordered for each child). - Sessions: £16 per session.
Terms & Conditions:- Payment for Welshie Wizzers/Connemara Champs is due at the start of each half term. - Booked sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable for the given period. - Children can join anytime, with payments adjusted for remaining sessions in the term. - Children must bring hats and gloves to their sessions; hat hire is available if needed. - Non-riding children are welcome but must have a completed rider registration form.
Children will meet in the Hub and be picked up from the same area at the end of the session.
